Several bloggable things have happened in the past several weeks.
Back in August, albeit the end of the month, some of Aurelio’s family came to meet Robin! We have a real problem about not taking enough pictures. A REAL PROBLEM.
We entertained a visit from: Grandpa and Grandma, Auntie Steph and Uncle Cuen, and Auntie Cai.
Here are the happy grandparents:
That’s it. Yep. All the pictures we took that aren’t blurry or not of like, a tree.
It was really fun and we’re so glad they came! They spoiled the bejeezus out of Robin by practically buying her a new wardrobe. I won’t even go into the details of how they spoiled us too! 🙂
Remember when she used to look like this? Well, I do anyway.
Then in early September we went to Fort Worth for work training for my part-time job, and Robin’s first roadtrip! Here’s the one picture we took before we even left (HOURS late I might add):
We stayed with Josh and Haley for a few days, and Robin slept terribly at night. And by “slept terribly”, I mean, didn’t sleep at all. I don’t think there’s any way she could have known we weren’t at our residence. She “slept” on the same pack n’ play!
We had fun and I’m still liking the part-time job Haley basically got for me!
We came back on Friday and Aunt Emmy and Uncle Josh came to stay!
Brace yourself.
WE DIDN’T TAKE A SINGLE PICTURE. I’m reeeally sad about that! Seriously, I am a doofus. From now on, every time you see Robin, please ask to be photographed.
They stayed with us for the first leg of their trip and then with the Morales family. (I don’t know how to write Morales plural, so I always cleverly avoid having to.)
I feel bad because I worked my new job all weekend and made them babysit for a few hours. I hope they at least marginally enjoyed themselves. <Shameless fishing for reassurance alert>
I’ll end with some more pictures of the girl.
So there’s an update. What I’ve learned is, I need to take more pictures of adults.
I’m thinking my next post will be “Things I wish I had known before having a baby” and it might get a bit detailed, so gentlemen beware.
Until next time!
Edmund was right, by the way. Turkish delight is delicious. Totally worth betraying your family for. Especially if your little sister is a zombie!
I like the baditude one best. Pic of Robin. Anyone with a drop of Gerow blood should have an attitude…
I was just kidding about the “remember when she looked like this” part. She still looks exactly like that when she cries.
I love the Les Mis one! and she should totally be a mini Rosie. cutest ever.
T’would be very cute! But she actually already has a costume! You must wait for the reveal post…
The child’s aunt should not have to wait to find out anything from the child’s mother’s blog.
please dress her as rosie the riveter! i miss you guys! and i brag about how cute robin is all the time.
We just got her a costume, so maybe Rosie next year! We miss you too! Ha ha, it’s hard not to brag! Is that something I’m not supposed to say?
You’re allowed to be a proud mama. Also, I am stealing all these pictures. 🙂
time for your “Things I Wish I Had Known Before Having A Baby” post!
I forgot everything! I waited too long!
